Putting a STOP to Domestic Violenceđź’ś

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, a time for organizations and people across the country to come together and stand behind survivors of domestic violence, to make sure their stories are told and their voices are heard.

Congress declared the month of October to be Domestic Violence Awareness Month in 1989.

Domestic Violence is an issue that plagues Tulare County, and, too often, goes unreported. Sheriff Boudreaux, and the men and women of the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office, are committed to ensuring victims feel safe to speak up. If you are a victim of Domestic Violence, we want you to know you are not alone and there are countless resources available to you. For help, contact the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office at 559-733-6218.
