A belated Happy Dinosaur Day! 🦕🦖

My pandemic experience looked a little different from the sourdough baking and Tiger King binge-watching that seemed to define lockdown for so many people. Instead, it was marked by the unexpected creation of a virtual Dinosaur Club and an entire week of Zoom Dino Summer Camp. 👩🏻‍💻

Looking back, I’m incredibly grateful to all the families who joined our club through Patreon. Your support helped both of my small businesses, and , weather an uncertain time and continue bringing educational adventures to kids when they needed them.

A huge thanks to ._ for all his drawings of Alexa the puppet interacting with our Dino of the month, and to all the artists who sent in their Dino art to be displayed in Alexa’s room gallery wall 🥰

Well this was a fun project for today ☺️ I found this Piggie garden statue on facebook marketplace and decided it fit right in with the rest of the concrete crew 🪿 🐄 🐶 🐿️ 🐖. I spent the day getting it all spiffied up with some fresh paint. What do you think we should call it?

Happy World puppetry day! 🎉💕 I’m feeling extra grateful today for this wonderfully weird, wildly creative community of puppeteers and puppet lovers. Getting to bring characters to life, tell stories, be silly, be heartfelt, and most of all, getting to play with so many like-minded humans is something I don’t take for granted.

I’m looking forward to more puppet projects already in the works, and to continue building alongside and whom I recently joined on a visit to Whimsy Woods where I assisted Big Mama in getting her headshots taken by 📸

Thank you for cheering on the kooky projects I get involved in, sharing your art and ideas, and for embracing the joy that puppets can bring to people, young and old, and as I’ve recently learned, to animals as well 💛

Puppet mama, real babies!
This was such an awesome moment I got to experience thanks to the , this weekend at ! These little babies are about two months old and recently orphaned 🥺 My and I got to simulate the movement they’re already used to from being on their real mothers’ back. Thank you to all the vendors and visitors at CritterCon who helped raise funds for organizations such as the Wildlife Foster Program and other rescue groups 🐰 🦝 🐍 🐦💕

It’s almost time for CritterCon! Last year’s event was so much fun, I can’t wait to do it again 😃 Artists from all over will be there to educate, entertain and share in the festivities as we raise funds for the and other deserving small rescues giving care to critters in need 🦨 🦝 🐦💕 This year’s event features booths by soooo many talented artist and small businesses. Way too many to list and tag here so go check out the lineup ! There’s a special “Concrete Jungle” cruise and a booth for all things where you’ll get to meet Big Mama Squatch 🌲 ✨ I hope to see you at the Boys and Girls club of Stanton on March 14th from 12pm to 8pm for a suggested donation of $2 that goes directly towards helping animals in need ❤️‍🩹

We had the absolute joy of shooting at a studio with decades of storytelling in its bones. Images in Motion has an Emmy award winning team of artists with a wide array of skill & experience.
High ceilings. Warm light. Room to create.
The kind of space where imagination stretches out and gets comfortable! Filming with ’s Big Mama was just one of the fun projects we got into. I’ll post about the others soon 😄
