A week later it still smells. π
I freaking love this word. It comes from an old Scottish verb that means "to throw into disarray." The Scotts really know how to language, amiright?
And it's totally appropriate when you're up at midnight with an 8-week-old, dealing with two dogs who have been skunked. Cleaning the house on 2 hours of sleep. Fighting through booster shot side effects. AND trying to get skunk funk out of your partner's arm cast. Sometimes, life causes QUITE a kerfuffle.
So, next time you find yourself in a kerfuffle, take a deep breath, pour yourself a cup of coffee (or glass of pinot, it's 5:00 somewhere), and tackle that mess head-on. And if all else fails, just remember that even the biggest kerfuffles can make the best stories!
Now, let's see if we can start a little kerfuffle in the comments π Got your own skunkgate to share? Please tell me in the comments (doesn't have to be skunk-related, any kerfuffle will do. Misery loves company.) π€©
