This past week we featured our GREENEXT social media team. They have been hard at work the past few weeks working on their client’s social media content.

Like mentioned in a previous post, GREENEXT is a sustainable lifestyle platform and community. They work with partners to highlight the most recent findings and trends in sustainable fashion. Out social media team specifically focuses on creating content for and advising GREENEXT on Instagram.

This week, the GREENEXT social media team is preparing for their upcoming client meeting. They are also updating the client’s social media platforms with the work they’ve done. Recently, GREENEXT hosted the first green salon at Shanghai Fashion Week!

Their team culture is extremely collaborative. Before posting any content, they have a system in place where the members are able to get approval, tips, and feedback before they post. The team meets bi-weekly to regroup and continue to produce content for their client!

This past week, we featured the Shalimar team! Currently, the Shalimar team is running their clients Instagram, Facebook, and event calendar.

Shalimar Golf Club is located in Tempe, Arizona. While being a local golf spot, their goal is to attract more Arizona State students and a younger crowd. They are currently closed until the end of October, but hope to open with a busy and eventful calendar soon!

We are featuring our CrowdDoing team this week! Lately, they have been training for Client Relations and assigning individual roles for all the members! They had a few team meetings and also met with their client to strategize and take note of the goals they have in mind.

CrowdDoing is an organization that’s looking to address the Sustainable Development goals set out by the United Nations. This means they try to tackle many different initiatives around zero-subsidy public housing, biophilia, forest fire prevention, and more. Their approach is unique in that they take on many volunteers who contribute in different capacities through micro-leadership in different facets of these more ambitious projects.

The team started to contribute to their client’s Instagram page through graphic design, analytics, etc. Some of the team’s weekly assignments include: community management, analytics & hashtags, graphic design, and content writing/research. So far, they are off to a good start!

Our first club meeting was a success! Unfortunately, not everyone was able to make it due to time differences, but we are looking forward to seeing everyone again soon.

This past week, our Greenext LinkedIn and Marketing team was highlighted on our instagram.

Greenext is a sustainable fashion platform that works with pioneering brands and organizations to find solutions to some of the fashion’s most pressing challenges. They work with partners to conduct research, organize events, and webinars to highlight the most recent findings and trends in sustainable fashion.

Greenext’s Linkedin and Marketing team worked on building their client’s Linkedin account. The team members are currently training and learning how to build their client’s social media presence. They are also planning to meet over zoom with their client to present what they’ve been working on. Overall, the next few weeks will be busy preparing for their meeting and team training!

Meet Vi Nguyen (CMC 2021)

“Client based work can be difficult and requires adaption. Socialspur gave me a group of people who I faced the trials and errors of our three clients with. This allowed us to gather insight from each other in order to overcome these obstacles, as well as develop a close bond. It was great to share the success of our work with three people I can now call my friends.”

In their journey to find a client, Vi and her team worked on ways to personally market themselves as an optimal partner for clients. This included creating a content portfolio and going through inbound marketing certification. She is currently working on honing in her Adobe Illustrator skills to further heighten the content creation abilities of her team.
