Okay, so we missed our own birthday by a few days.

As of August 6, RAD Creatives is officially two years old!

Over the past two years, we’ve worked with some truly incredible organizations, nonprofits, artists, and small businesses. Watching their ideas become websites, brands, campaigns, graphics, and stories has been one of the greatest honors of my life.

I’m unbelievably proud of the work we’re doing, the designers on our team, and the wonderful humans who continue to trust us with their ideas.

Now we’re officially entering our Terrible Twos. ⚡

No tantrums. Just creative chaos, overthinking typography, caring way too much, and maintaining a very low tolerance for boring design.

Thank you to every client, collaborator, friend, and cheerleader who has been part of this journey.

Here’s to year three and plenty more RAD work for RAD humans. ❤️

Some projects come with a side of something you didn't expect.

I just launched the new website for The Sprig, a Sacramento catering company built by Patricia Alanis. She spent 16 years working her way through nearly every corner of the culinary world before deciding to build something of her own: a family business with seasonal menus, genuine hospitality, and food that's made to bring people together. She's also raising five kids while running it. Honestly, Patricia is the kind of person who makes you want to show up better.

But here's the part I keep thinking about: her husband is an old friend I hadn't seen in 20 years. We were close friends, life happened, and then this project walked through the door and just... reconnected us. Like no time had passed at all.

That's the thing about this work. It's never just pixels and code and WordPress builds. It's the people on the other side of it. And every once in a while, it's how you find your way back to someone who's always mattered.

HAPPY PRIDE MONTH! 🌈

I’ve had the privilege of working with Placer LGBTQ Center for nearly five years now, and watching this organization grow has been nothing short of incredible.

From a dream of creating a safe, affirming space for the LGBTQ+ community in Placer County to a thriving Center serving the community today, it’s been an honor to help tell that story online.

HAPPY PRIDE MONTH! 🌈

Y’all, it brings me so much joy when I get to work on commUNITY websites. Getting to help bring this one to life was an honor.

Inspired by the idea that Pride is more than a festival, this new website was designed to celebrate visibility, belonging, connection, and community year-round. Through intentional color restraint, community storytelling, accessibility-first design, and real photography from the people who make this organization special, every page was built to feel human, welcoming, and alive.
