I know the struggle. A month after graduating with my 4-year degree (which took me 8 years to obtain), the only job I could find that paid a decent salary was a car rental company. I also owed over $28k for a degree that cost $12k only 20 years ago. Needless to say, washing and renting cars is not what I went to school for. Fortunately, and dozens of resume submittals later, I found one other option: a marketing coordinator position at a playground manufacturing company - the last place I expected to find a position. Fortunately, I had put time in building my portfolio and perfecting my resume, and it managed to catch the marketing director's eye.
My point in all this is that we need to help each other out!
