☀️🌸 There’s nothing quite like summer in Victoria! 🚤💙

From sunny days on the lake to evenings filled with community events, this little town truly shines. What makes Victoria so special is the incredible community—our local businesses, neighbors, and families who make everyone feel welcome. 🏡❤️

It was wonderful seeing so many familiar faces at our second annual Victoria in Bloom event in May! 🌷 And after a long winter, I finally got to bring out my 1972 Ford truck, “Julep,” so keep an eye out for us at the car shows this summer. 🚙✨

Be sure to enjoy everything Victoria has to offer this season, including Victoria Classic Car Nights and all the events that make our town so special. We’re also excited to feature Jean Stelten’s beautiful 1957 Corvette alongside local business owners who help keep Victoria thriving. 🚗🌟
Soak up the sunshine ☀️, support local 🛍️, enjoy the lake 🌊, and celebrate the dads, grandpas, and legendary dad jokes that make June unforgettable. 😄👔

Meet Lili, our Victoria Living Pet of the Month!🐴

She is a beautiful 16-hand Thoroughbred/Spotted Draft Horse cross and a beloved member of the family at Cross Creek Stables in Cologne.

After more than 40 years of riding, I've learned that the most meaningful partnerships are built on trust, patience, and time—and that's exactly what Lili and I share.

From exploring scenic trails and practicing dressage in the arena to cooling off with a swim in the lake on warm summer days, every moment together strengthens our bond. Lili isn't just a horse; she's a trusted companion, a willing teacher, and a constant source of joy.

Life at Cross Creek Stables offers plenty of room to roam, learn, and grow, and Lili embraces it all with grace and spirit. The connection we share goes far beyond riding—it's a friendship built through countless hours spent together.

Join us every week from June 4 through October 15 for fresh produce, local vendors, and a vibrant community atmosphere.

🌻 A fresh new look
📱 A new page: Waconia Farmers Market
👧🧒 The return of the POP (Power of Produce) Club, where kids ages 4–12 receive a $2 token each week to purchase fresh fruits and vegetables
🙌 Student volunteers helping support the market and local vendors

The market is also on a mission to collect 8,000 pounds of fresh produce this summer for the Gather and Grow Food Shelf. Every visit helps support local growers and neighbors in need.

Join Victoria American Legion Post 1995 and Waconia American Legion Post 150 on Monday, May 25 as we honor and remember the brave men and women who fought and died for our country.

📍 Event Schedule:
• 9:50 AM — Color Guard tribute at Saint Victoria Catholic Cemetery
• 10:45 AM — Memorial Day parade begins at South Vine Street & West Main Street in Waconia and ends at City Square Park
• 11:00 AM — Formal Memorial Day Service at City Square Park featuring: 🎶 Waconia High School Marching Band

🎤 Community & keynote speakers
🇺🇸 “Remember & Honor” Program
🫡 Color Guard Salute to the Fallen
🌭 FREE Community Picnic Following the Ceremony! Hosted at American Legion Post 150 Club
📍 4 East Main Street, Waconia

Enjoy hot dogs, potato salad, coleslaw, baked beans, chips, pickles, and lemonade. Free will donations supporting the American Legion mission are welcome.

☔ Weather Plan: If there is inclement weather, the parade will be canceled and services will move to the Bayview Elementary gym.
