As we close out 2025 and head into 2026, a few key marketing shifts are worth paying attention to—especially as AI moves from buzzword to baseline.

I saw a news story about people using AI to find the “best” holiday recipes. The photos looked amazing, the steps sounded simple… but AI was stitching together one recipe’s ingredients with another recipe’s bake time. The result: “AI slop.”

Same thing in marketing: AI can help you brainstorm and create faster—but everyone can do that now. Including your competitors.
