A little creative experiment at Sunken Gardens 🌼 today!

I take so many photos for fun, but they often just sit. So today, I tried something new! I asked my friends about their favorite colors and matched them to the vibrant hues I found in the gardens. It was a fun way to look at the world, and brighten up someone's day! —and a reminder that inspiration is everywhere.

🌅 Watching the sunrise or sunset from the sea wall, in St. Pete, FL, is one of my favorite things to do. I often keep an eye out for dolphins or any marine life. 🐬 Along the way, I make small talk with people walking their pets, and I recently met this little cutie! 🐾📸 How adorable is this puppy?

When I saw the news today before the names were released, I texted you to see if you were okay, like I had done many times before. This time, I did not hear anything back. I was hoping that you were busy, but that was not the case.

So, in true dark humor fashion that you and I both had:
🥃 I will make sure to lay out by the pool during every photography conference from here on out,
🥃 I now wish I would have bought the really bad picture that was offered to us at the restaurant in Orlando,
🥃 I will spike my drinks while sitting in class,
🥃 I will think of you when I am dehydrated and yelling to eat a banana, and
🥃 I will miss the crap out of you.
🥃 I am also glad I got to spend 4 days with you during School and to be in your group!

You were a familiar face when I went to conferences and a joy to be around. Thank you for being such a great and welcoming human. I really wish that Harris won the election because you would have been out of there, and still be with us.

Happy Halloween! I dressed up like one of my mentors - "Hello, Hello! My name is Roger Curlin, and I am the Executive Director of the The EDGE District of St. Petersburg Business District Association. We have over 200 amazing businesses and over 1,000 residents located in our great district" It was so much fun!
