That’s a wrap! 👏

The best work is almost never a solo act, it’s built on the heart, skill, and vision of an incredible team. That was so true last year while filming Sabbath Sunday out at the Salt Flats for The Well’s first worship single, “Shades of Grace.”

From the planning to the ex*****on, it was a reminder that when the right people come together, something truly special happens.

A great team looks like this:
• Shared vision + purpose
• Clear communication
• Mutual respect and trust
• Willingness to show up and serve
• Creative freedom with collaboration
• Encouragement over ego
• People who just get it

Shoutout to from for leading with intention and bringing such clarity to the process. It was a joy to create something meaningful together.

I recently had the chance to speak with the chapter about my career journey. Many students asked thoughtful questions about life after graduation and how to build meaningful experience. It was energizing to be back on campus, surrounded by so much ambition, curiosity, and excitement for the future.

Here are a few slides from my talk, they may be a bit out of context, but I shared some of the lessons I’ve learned along the way, along with a few stickers and words of encouragement.

A moment from , plus notes from my advanced type lecture back in 2015 . This little notebook is falling apart, every page packed with thoughts, scribbles, and words. Some still make sense, others… not so much. As Vignelli once said, “Type is the space between the black, not the black.” I think life works the same way.

This word from while chatting with came across my feed earlier today and it hit home! So ofc right when I had the chance, I made it into something I could remember.

In my full time work, being a mama, a wife, a daughter, a sister, and friend, this applies to it all. It all holds purpose, and there’s power in staying obedient whether the task is great or small.

In our recent move, I found alllll my journals and notebooks. Full of words that have had meaning to me in one way or another. It pained me to see them closed and forgotten about, so it’s time to revisit “old” knowledge with a new series I’m titling . I’ll try to post these once a week, in hopes that it helps me remember the powerful words that have impacted my life, and hopefully yours too. 💜
