"A Hint of Fall" 4x4 original available at the Utah Art Market at Four Lemons

I love doing these smaller studies, they give me a chance to try fun things with colors and are a great way to start your art collection.

I'm thinking of doing 30 of these 4x4's in 30 days and offering them only online just in time for Christmas. Let me know in the comments if this is something you're interested in

"The Last Gift" 16x20 Needle Felted Wool *Available*

Years ago a friend told me of an old Native American tradition that said that sunflowers were the final gift Mother Nature gave to animals and birds.

Each sunflower gave them more seeds to store for the winter and because of that Native Americans would look to sunflowers to determine how bad the winter would be.

The more sunflowers, the more Mother Nature was preparing the animals for a harsh winter.

I've always been drawn to sunflowers and you'll see them in a lot of my work, especially this time of year. But I especially love the idea of a loving Mother Earth providing for her children

Oh hey friends!

New pictures just dropped so I thought I'd do a little reintroduction.

Hi! I'm Kari Reynolds, the artist behind Izzy Lou Art. I've always liked to be different and my art is the same way. Instead of paint I use wool to create landscapes, florals, and art that draws you in and invites you to take a second look.

I use a special felting needle to create my work and each piece comes together in many layers and thousands of tiny pokes.

I'm so glad you're here! Like seriously, I feel so incredibly lucky to get to share my art and have so many amazing people cheering me on.
