A cracked windshield started what was supposed to be a quick and easy Google search to check and see if any companies offered a first responder discount. After finding no information anywhere the Google search continued to check for local discounts at any businesses and the results were few and far between. A simple Facebook post asking people for businesses that they knew of that offered these discounts showed that they were out there, but why was this information so plentiful yet not able to be found? From this Discounts For the Brave was born. No matter the job you are in nobody likes asking for a discount, plain and simple. That’s where we come in. We have two goals: 1. To connect first responders, military personnel, nurses and teachers with businesses that are already offering them deals and 2. Bring local businesses and our members together to build relationships and keep the commerce local. We offer extremely affordable advertising for businesses so that each and every entrepreneur could have the chance to show off their hard work. Between this and creating a directory of easy to search discounts for our members we feel that we have created the rare win-win!
