Happy Saturday y’all!

So…after much consideration, meditation, and prayer my team and I have decided to temporarily close FAi Marketing Firm and will not be taking any additional clients then the ones we currently have.

I’ve had a great time putting my skills and talents out there to the public and I’m very thankful for the opportunity to do awesome things!

I’ve worked with politicians, Fortune 500 companies, large non-profit organizations, and even more dear to my heart small businesses that have launched! 🥹

You all put your trust in me and I could never repay you all for that.

But now looking to the future! 💫

I appreciate all of the support my team and support system have provided throughout this time!

Happy Thursday y’all!

So idk who told God that I was a strong soldier, but I’m not! 😅 true story

What I am is a person who won’t give up on himself regardless of who’s on his side or not.

My life has so many complexities nowadays, but the great thing about it is that God has kept me fed and housed. 🙏🏾

But with that being said, there’s been some major changes to the work that I’ve been doing.

For now until the foreseeable future, my company FAi Marketing Firm will ONLY be providing marketing consultations, strategies, and team training sessions.

I’m getting out of the graphic design and advertising game…simply because times are hard for a lot of ppl across the nation 🇺🇸

Plus I want to get back into my podcasting Thursday Thoughts with Teej and Friends

As a business owner, you have to take the pulse of our economy and be able to ride the wave 🌊

I appreciate the support I do receive from the select few ppl who have rooted for me.

Contrary to popular belief: Everyone can’t be an service providing entrepreneur.

Sometimes weeks/months suck!
It’s really expensive!

Limited funding, unless you have an investor which there’s so many scammers out there, investment opportunities are hardly ever legit.

You’re not gonna have an easy ride, for those starry eyed people looking to start this path!

Here’s 3 tips you should include prior to launching your services:

- Make a solid business plan: while there’s nothing wrong with being in service industries, I tend to see complicated business ideas being crammed into 1! Keep it super simple with a specific niche and audience. And when you simplify it, simplify it some more!

- Consider daily operations: it’s very easy to get swamped with a lot of overhead really quickly believe it or not. Maybe not in Equipment like products, but think about scheduling softwares, your website maintenance, etc.

- Get a support system: if you’re anything like me, I started my businesses strictly with intellectual capital. No start up cash, terrible credit, no rich family…just a skill and super supportive family members. They can’t always give money, but they can keep you encouraged on your journey.

Without these 3 things, I’d encourage you to stay at that 9-5 until you get it together….or invest in the Holy Trinity of business:
- An Attorney
- An Accountant
- An Marketer

Marketing Tip of the Week:

So I know you probably get tired of feeling as though your not really getting enough traction for your business.

Primarily because, perhaps like me, you don’t take enough time to market yourself or your products and services.

Here a 3 tips on how you can better market yourself:
1. Pick a category or industry you feel most passionate about. This will give you a primary topic (or niche)

2. Break that main topic down into smaller topics (aka segmenting). Example - Auto Repair: a) DIY Auto repair tips b) how to fix certain parts of the car c) What to look for while shopping for an auto mechanic

3. Use those topics in various content types which can look like:
- viral/trending content
- educational content
- (For TikTok purposes) Duets or Tips/Tricks/Hacks
- GRWM (Get Ready With Me)/Day in the life
