The Franklin Rotary Club presented Mayor Eugene Foulcard with a check to purchase (3) benches for the Center Theatre Lot park project . The Franklin Rotary Club won this grant to help beautify the area from District 6200. Giving back to the community is a priority for the members of Rotary. Looking forward to a nice area downtown for visitors and local residents to enjoy!!

Franklin Rotary Club won a Rotary District Grant to purchase 50 fans for St. Mary Council on Aging. The fans will help make life a little more bearable in this Louisiana heat. SMCOA will distribute the fans to local elders who have a need and meet the criteria. Franklin Rotary Club is happy to make a difference for local Senior Citizens.

Congratulations to Ms Diane Wiltz for directing a great show, 'To Kill a Mockingbird", at Teche Theatre this weekend. Also to her sidekick, Ed Tiger Verdin for always being involved and supporting the activities of the arts in St. Mary Parish. Both are Rotarians and both bring outstanding skills to our community.

Rotarians on the Bayou!!! Come see us to get some Gumbo, Potato Salad, Jambalaya, and Pastalaya for lunch or supper!! It is already smelling great!! Lunch is served around 11:30!!
