❤️✨ For the past two years, we’ve had the privilege of helping bring the YMCA’s 150th anniversary celebration to life, and this spring reminded us exactly why we love this work so much.

From connecting with families, volunteers, and longtime YMCA supporters at Síclovía, to celebrating the unveiling of the new turf fields at the Mays Family YMCA Stone Oak Youth Sports Complex, every event has carried so much heart.

This milestone year keeps proving that the biggest community moments start long before event day arrives. Watching the care, creativity, and intention behind this celebration come to life behind the scenes has been incredibly special to witness.

San Antonio creatives, this is your sign to make art with your community. 🎨✨

The YMCA of Greater San Antonio is inviting the community to participate in its 150th Anniversary Uniting Generations Canvas Community Art Event.
Participants are encouraged to attend the in-branch art events June 1–6, where artwork can be created onsite using the project’s themes and color guidelines. The artwork theme is “Uniting Generations”: what it means to you, your family, and your community. 🤍

Selected artists will have the opportunity to recreate their work on canvas during a special event with SAY Sí, and featured artwork may also be showcased during the YMCA’s 150th Anniversary Celebration this September and permanently displayed at the future Gordon Hartman Family YMCA!✨

Lynn has been part of the journey since the RMG days, which makes this full-circle moment extra special for Team LPR.

She brings an incredible depth of professional experience, strategy, organization, and creative problem-solving to the team, along with a longtime passion for community impact through her past work with organizations like the YMCA.✨

She’ll be supporting Team Lustrous behind the scenes as we continue growing, streamlining systems, and bringing exciting new ideas to life. And yes… that includes a few fun updates we know you all have been waiting for. 👀💻️

Most importantly, she brings the same heart, hustle, and care for people that have always been at the center of Team LPR.

Such a special day celebrating the women making an impact across San Antonio.✨

Our very own Dani was nominated in the INSPIRE: Woman-Owned Business category at the 15th Annual Women’s Leadership Awards Luncheon hosted by the San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.🤍

With more than 100 women nominated across all categories, it was truly an honor to celebrate alongside so many inspiring leaders, entrepreneurs, advocates, and changemakers shaping our city.

Team Lustrous proudly showed up in full force alongside Dani’s mom, Ruth, and left feeling incredibly inspired by the energy, encouragement, and support in the room.

Huge thank you to SAHCC for organizing such a meaningful event and for including us in the recap content. We’re proud chamber members and even prouder to celebrate the amazing women in our community. ✨

The first was designed and printed by Dani’s mom when she was just starting out, going door to door selling Girl Scout cookies and learning how to introduce herself with confidence.

The second is the one she carries today. Polished, elevated, built from years of experience.✨

What changed is the look. What never changed is the foundation.

From the very beginning, this was about showing up, connecting, and believing in what you have to offer.

From final walkthrough to load-in to EVENT DAY, watching this come to life at Retama Park had us in our feels in the best way.🥹💫

Thousands showed up and showed ALL the way out for the largest Walk for Autism in South Texas, and the energy was unmatched. The love, the support, the community, we felt it in every single moment. 🧩💃💙

Being part of this with ABC of Southwest TX was so fulfilling and one of those experiences that stays with you. Still smiling, thinking about it!✨🫶

This San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Mixer last week was the perfect kickoff to Fiesta season… we walked into The Espee and were instantly surrounded by new faces, familiar friends, and nonstop energy! 🤩⁠

From stilt walkers to mariachi to flamenco dancers, every corner had something happening, and we were here for ALL of it. We took so many photos, met incredible people, and handed out our Lustrous PR Fiesta medals like candy.🪩💖🎉⁠
