Apparently I’m hot desking now. šŸ”„šŸ’»

Translation? I joined a coworking space because… as much as I love my home office, talking to myself and my coffee machine all day was starting to feel a little too normal.

Today I learned there’s actually a name for what I’m doing.

A hot desk is basically a workspace nobody owns.

You show up, grab an open desk, get your work done, pack up, and tomorrow… someone else sits there.

No family laundry in the background.
No Amazon deliveries interrupting Zoom calls.
No ā€œI’ll just quickly unload the dishwasherā€¦ā€

Just fresh energy, new conversations, and a reminder that sometimes the best ideas happen when you change your environment.

Also… who knew I’d be learning coworking vocabulary in 2026? I love hot-desking šŸ”„šŸ’œšŸ«¶
