Hi, I’m Raul, co-owner of Bobbin Case Embroidery alongside my wife, Elizabeth.

I’ve always been someone who believes in learning things from the ground up, doing things the right way, and taking pride in the work I put my name behind. I’m a pretty humble person by nature, but I care deeply about the people I work with, the customers we serve, and especially my family.

Throughout my career, I’ve had just two professional paths. I spent many years in the trucking industry, where I developed a strong foundation in logistics, problem-solving, responsibility, and understanding what it takes to keep things moving. That experience taught me the importance of being dependable, staying committed, and following through for your customers.

For the past seven years, I’ve also built a career in HVAC. I learned the trade from the ground up from understanding how every part of a system works, to installation, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs. I’ve always enjoyed working with my hands and figuring out how things work, so becoming mechanically inclined has naturally been a big part of who I am.

That same mindset has become a huge part of Bobbin Case Embroidery.

Our embroidery equipment is not your typical home or small-business machine. We operate commercial grade embroidery equipment designed to handle everything from smaller orders to large volume production. I’ve taken the time to learn the mechanical side of our machines so that when something needs attention, I can understand it, troubleshoot it, and help keep our production moving.

But what I love most about what we’re building is that every customer matters to us.

Whether you’re a large company placing a major order or a small business ordering just a few pieces, we want you to feel like you’re getting the same level of care, quality, and attention. Supporting small businesses is especially important to us because we know what it’s like to build something from the ground up.

I believe your reputation is built by what you do when no one is watching. I’ve spent my career staying committed to my customers, my work, and my family and I plan to bring that same commitment to everything we build at Bobbin Case Embroidery.

I’m proud of what Elizabeth and I are creating together, and I’m even more excited about where we’re going.

My name is Elizabeth, and I’m the co-owner of Bobbin Case Embroidery. While embroidery is what we do, it isn’t why we started.

For nearly eight years, I’ve had the privilege of helping build and scale a business from the ground up. I’ve experienced the long days of wearing every hat imaginable answering phones, managing operations, hiring, financing equipment, solving problems, and building teams that share the same vision. Those experiences taught me that every successful business starts with someone willing to take a chance on themselves.

That’s why Bobbin Case Embroidery means so much more to me than putting logos on apparel. Every order represents someone’s dream a small business owner taking a leap of faith, a company investing in their employees, or an organization making an impact in their community. Being a small part of that journey is something I never take for granted.

My faith is the foundation of everything I do. I believe we’ve been blessed with this business not just to create income, but to create opportunities. My hope is that as we continue to grow, we’ll be able to provide meaningful jobs, especially for older adults who still have so much wisdom, work ethic, and value to offer but are often overlooked. I want our company to become a place where people feel respected, needed, and appreciated.

Giving back has always been part of the vision. My prayer is that our success allows us to support families, encourage entrepreneurs, invest in our communities, and one day make an impact far beyond San Antonio. Whether we’re helping a startup order their first embroidered polos or partnering with a national company, every customer deserves the same level of care, honesty, and commitment.

People who know me would probably tell you I wear my heart on my sleeve. I genuinely care about people, their businesses, and their success. But they would also tell you I’m not afraid to work hard, make difficult decisions, or hold high standards. I believe you can lead with compassion while still expecting excellence.

At the end of the day, I don’t want Bobbin Case Embroidery to be remembered simply for quality embroidery. I want it to be known as a company built on faith, integrity, service, and purpose a business that left people better than we found them and used every opportunity to make a difference.

If our work can help another business grow, create jobs, or inspire someone to chase their dream, then we’re doing exactly what we set out to do.

Some moments leave you speechless, and this was one of them.

Receiving this award was completely unexpected. We don’t wake up every day chasing recognition, awards, or applause. We simply believe in working hard, serving others well, and giving every project our very best.

When we started Bobbin Case Embroidery, it was never just about embroidery. Our vision has always been bigger than us. We wanted to build a business that would allow us to give back to support schools, businesses, organizations, and our community through sponsorships, donations, and partnerships. We believe success means little if it isn’t used to make a difference in the lives of others.

This recognition from the School of Science and Technology means more than words can express. Knowing that our efforts have made an impact is truly humbling, and we are incredibly grateful to be recognized as a Partner in Education.

We are honored to continue that mission and are excited to partner with SST once again for the upcoming school year. Here’s to another year of investing in students, supporting education, and serving our community with excellence.
