Warm Brie & Cranberry Walnut Crostini with Hot Honey
Ingredients
1 baguette, sliced into 1/2-inch rounds
6 oz (170 g) brie cheese, sliced
1/3 cup cranberry sauce or whole cranberries
1/4 cup chopped walnuts, toasted
2 tablespoons honey
1/2 teaspoon red chili flakes (optional, for a spicy kick)
Olive oil, for brushing
Fresh thyme for garnish (optional)
Directions
Preheat Oven:
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Prepare the Crostini:
Brush baguette slices lightly with olive oil. Arrange on the baking sheet and toast for 5–7 minutes until slightly golden.
Assemble:
Place a slice of brie on each toasted baguette slice. Top with a spoonful of cranberry sauce and sprinkle with toasted walnuts.
Bake:
Return to the oven for 5–7 minutes, until the brie is soft and slightly melted.
Finish with Hot Honey:
Drizzle warm honey over the crostini. Sprinkle with red chili flakes if desired. Garnish with fresh thyme.
Serve:
Serve immediately as a warm appetizer or festive snack.
