Popularity - High school art lesson

My initial brush with popularity occurred during my high school days. Even though I was aware of the social hierarchy and the "cool kids club", it never really fazed me until a popular friend asked to submit my art homework as her own. Though I'm a stickler for the rules, I decided to see how she would fare with my still-life sketch of my mom's kitchen.

To my surprise, I received a "B" while she effortlessly scored an "A" grade for the same damn sketch!

This experience is something I've witnessed time and again in the agency and corporate world, where cliques and the "cool kids club" reign supreme. However, I've since abandoned all that nonsense to pursue my own passion.

Now, I have the privilege of empowering product founders who are revolutionizing their industries. They don't need to fit into any mold to succeed; they can be themselves and let their unique creativity and ingenuity shine through their products, positively impacting countless lives every day.

In the end, it's not about appearances or who's in the "in-crowd", it's all about how the product makes the customers feel.

So, here's to the trailblazers, the rebels, and the one-of-a-kind badasses who are changing the game with their innovative products.
