We talk a lot about the value of expertise. San Diego Volunteer Lawyer Program, Inc. (SDVLP) shows what can happen when people choose to share theirs.
For more than 40 years, SDVLP has served as a bridge between people who might otherwise go without legal help and the volunteer attorneys and others willing to give their time and resources.
We’ve spent the past few months working closely with their team to put that mission into words and, most recently, on camera.
Writing the script meant understanding not only the people SDVLP serves, but the bigger picture: how pro bono legal work can create access to justice, strengthen families and change what happens next for someone who needs an advocate.
Getting to see it all come to life alongside their team made us even more excited for what this video can do — help more people understand the need, recognize the impact and find their own way to be part of it.
