There’s something special about spending a week in Lake Tahoe with my family, tucked away in a cozy cabin… even if the WiFi leaves a lot to be desired. 😅

As much as I love unplugging, business doesn’t completely stop. Around here, getting online means heading to the one spot with WiFi and setting up at a picnic table. My phone hotspot hasn’t been much help, so I’ve been making the most of working from my phone whenever I can.

I’m incredibly grateful for technology that lets me access so many of the same apps and programs from my phone as I do on my computer. While there are still a few tasks that require my laptop, I’ve been able to stay on top of emails, check off my to-do list, and keep projects moving… all while soaking up the sunshine and enjoying these incredible Lake Tahoe views.

It’s a good reminder that sometimes “working remotely” looks a little different than we imagine… and honestly, I can’t complain about this office. 🌲☀️💙

I gave myself 20 minutes to see what all the Wix Harmony hype was about.

If you haven’t heard of it: Wix Harmony is Wix’s new AI website builder. You describe your business in plain English, their AI agent (Aria) builds you a full site, then you can jump in and edit it manually just like the old Wix editor. Basically vibe coding meets drag and drop.

So I typed in a prompt for my own agency and let it cook.

The verdict? Kind of ok.

It nailed the basic structure fast. But the content felt generic, the images didn’t match my brand at all, the layout had some weird spacing issues, and the logo it generated was... not it.

I’d give it a 4 out of 10 as a finished product.

Here’s the thing though. As a starting point? Not bad. As a finished website you can launch and be proud of? Not even close.

This is exactly why knowing Wix Studio matters. AI can get you a rough draft in minutes. But someone still needs to fix the layout, swap in real photography, dial in the brand colors and typography, and actually proofread the copy it spits out. Skipping that step is how you end up with a site that looks like everyone else’s AI site.

My honest take: use tools like Harmony to get unstuck or brainstorm. But if you want a website that actually converts and looks like YOU, hire a Wix expert to finish it or just start there in the first place. You’ll save yourself hours of fighting with an AI that doesn’t know your brand.

Nobody tells you that running your own agency means your best ideas happen at a red light and your most productive hours are in a random parking lot with good WiFi and bad posture.
