You probably didn't know about this hidden wellness resort that's only 1 hr from San Diego 🧘‍♀️🌿

in Tecate, Mexico has a few options for getting there too. You can get picked up right at the Tecate border and shuttled in 🚐, or cross yourself and drive straight to the resort. Either way, it’s only about a 1 hour drive.

Once you’re there, pretty much everything is included. Daily hikes at the base of Mount Kuchumaa ⛰️, yoga, sound baths, pilates, and food grown fresh on their own organic farm 🥗🥕

With the holiday season coming up, it's the perfect time to go. It’s a chance to slow down, disconnect, and recharge before or during all the holiday craziness ✨

They have candlelit concerts, festive holiday menus, seasonal drinks at Bazar del Sol, candlelit labyrinth and aerial sound healing, holiday turndown service, and a tree lighting ceremony on December 12th 🎄🕯️

Just under a 3-hour direct flight from San Diego puts you within reach of the world’s first national park 🦬🌾🤎

Yellowstone has iconic geysers, colorful hot springs, incredible wildlife, and fall being one of the best seasons to visit, here’s the perfect 3 day itinerary.

We flew directly with Southwest Airlines ✈️ to Bozeman, Montana, using one of the main airports for visiting Yellowstone National Park, and picked up our rental car Hertz before driving 🚗 to West Yellowstone, a cute little town just outside the park.

Traditional American barbecue meets Asian-inspired flavors 🥩🔥

Smoke Queen Barbecue isn’t your typical American barbecue, they are taking your classic staples and combining it with flavors all over Asia. I heard about this place for a while and finally drove up from San Diego 🚙💨 to Garden Grove to see if it’s worth the drive. The owners parents only ever wanted Asian food and to help bridge the gap, they brought familiar flavors from their background and it’s now beloved by so many others 💛

They have a variety of options to choose from and I think the price is a pretty good value for what you get!

Parking can be a little difficult to find, but there is residential street parking nearby. There’s also plenty of seating, with options that work well for all sizes. You order first and then find a seat on a first come, first served basis.

If you’re looking for places to eat in Orange County, definitely check this spot out!

California’s only mountain coaster and it’s here in Southern California! 🎢🍂

The Mineshaft Coaster lets you control your own speed as you twist, turn, and race through the mountains on nearly a mile of track.

It’s such a fun thing to add to a fall trip up here, especially if you’re looking for something a little more exciting than the usual mountain activities. Tickets start at $20, and gets even better once there’s snow in the winter ❄️

Cozy fall road trip from San Diego to the cutest mountain town 🍂🐻🌲

is just a couple hours from San Diego. This charming mountain town is packed with things to do, from Oktoberfest and scenic lake cruises to cute cafes, farm animals, and sunset dinners.

🛻 Here’s how to spend the perfect fall weekend in Big Bear:

Day 1
🏨 Check into — Self check-in hotel which includes a two story building. It’s the perfect location and one of the best stays in Big Bear.
🥨 — Authentic German celebration that continuously ranks among the top Southern California festivals each year with food, fare, traditional music, and contests.

Day 2
🥞 — Grab complimentary bikes from the hotel and ride over (5 minutes) for their giant blueberry pancake. The lines can get really long, so go early! But the service was really fast!
⚓️ bigbearpirateship — explore Big Bear Lake from the water for 90 mins on a pirate ship. There’s also a treasure chest surprise for kids!
🌲 Scenic Sky Chair — take in the most beautiful mountain views.
🦈 — grab lunch at the #1 rated Poke in the U.S. by Yelp. It’s located inside of a giant shark mouth.
🐄 — meet the cutest farm animals at this hidden gem. You can also horseback ride here! It’s designed to inspire respect, curiosity, and love for animals in a safe environment!
🍷 — end the day on the top patio with sunset views, drinks, and an amazing dinner. I recommend the Caribbean Jerk Spiced Filet of Alaskan Salmon!

Fried chicken sandwich, but with a Middle Eastern twist?! 🥙🤩❤️‍🔥

I’m loving this Middle Eastern-inspired take on fried chicken at Tahini. This is the Aleppo Hot Chicken Pita, and it’s only available on weekends!

The Chicken is hand-breaded and fried to order, then stuffed into a freshly baked pita with housemade coleslaw. The Middle Eastern spices give it a tangy kick with just the right amount of heat. And this thing is HUGE! It’s easily shareable and only around $15!

Beyond the hot chicken pita, you can also build your own salad, bowl, or pita and choose from a variety of Middle Eastern sides 🥗🫓

☕️ And right next door is Finjan Coffee Co., a Middle Eastern coffee shop that’s the perfect stop for a drink and something sweet after your meal. I recommend the date foam matcha latte using Paru Tea and the Sparking Mazgran.
