Team Olive, out and about this weekend â¨
From coastlines to city streets to quiet corners of San Diego, this one felt like a little bit of everything, everywhere, all at once.
Along the Pacific, the 20th Annual La Jolla Concours dâElegance unfolded as a study in timeless design where world-class automobiles lined against the sea, chrome met coastline and craftsmanship took center stage. A gathering of collectors, creators, and connoisseurs, united by a shared appreciation for car craftsmanship.đď¸
Then, a shift in pace. Panda Fest made its San Diego debut, and safe to say⌠it showed up. One of the largest outdoor Asian food festivals in the U.S., bringing together over 80 vendors, hundreds of street food offerings, and a marketplace buzzing with flavor, color, and culture. Packed, vibrant, and full of life in the way only food and community can deliver. đź
And just beyond it all, in Santa Ysabel, things slowed down. At the Ilan-Lael Foundation, a yarn painting workshop invited a deeper kind of connection rooted in the traditions of the Huichol people, where yarn becomes story, and each piece carries generations of meaning. Founded in 1982 by James and Anne Hubbell, Ilan-Lael continues to hold space for art, reflection, and creative exchange, its name translating to âa tree that belongs to God.âđ¨
Just another weekend in the Oliv-erse đđŤ
