While attending the Kenya Association of Travel Agents (KATA) Annual Convention and AGM in Mombasa, Kenya, we emphasized the need to counter misinformation that is fueling travel cancellations, undermining business confidence, and damaging the global reputation of Magical Kenya. We commend KTF for issuing a strong and timely statement regarding Ebola. The facts remain clear: there are currently no reported cases of Ebola in Kenya. The Maasai Mara is more than 1,500 km from the DRC outbreak epicentre, over 830 km from Nairobi, and more than 1,000 km from Kenya’s coast. We call upon travel trade partners to support travellers through flexible rebooking policies and real-time health updates for those with concerns about their travel plans.

KTB, in partnership with Invest Kenya Kenya Investment Authority hosted an exclusive Investor Gala Dinner in Nairobi, bringing together over 500 investors for an unforgettable evening of connection, culture, and cuisine.

As a premier side event of KIICO 2026, the Magical Kenya Investor Gala Dinner showcased the powerful synergy between investment and experience.
