It’s not because you are doing it wrong or are unqualified. It’s due to a much bigger reason 👇🏻

You are pressing against existing systems, identities, power structures, and inherited stories that were never designed to change easily.

Resistance is not a sign to stop, but is often the initiation point. Every movement leader I’ve ever worked with hits this moment where the doubt gets louder and the visibility feels heavier.

This is where most people mistake resistance for failure and walk away from the very work they were born to do. However, if your calling is to disrupt or build something that didn’t exist before, resistance is part of the terrain.

The work isn’t to bypass it, but to build the internal capacity to hold it.

This is what separates those who have a vision from those who actually carry it into the world.

Movements don’t often fail because the vision was wrong, but because power was never designed well.

When decision-making is unclear, accountability is weak, and everything depends on one central figure, collapse becomes predictable.

The future belongs to conscious communities that practice power literacy.

Power literacy means understanding how power flows, where it concentrates, how it gets distorted, and how to distribute it with integrity. 

It means building cultures where leadership is shared and the mission can outlive the founder.

This is a core part of the work I teach inside my Movement Maker Incubator…how to steward power wisely and embed it into the frameworks of your organization.
