Great experiential moments usually start years before the activation. That’s exactly what happened with PIER 39 and Pepsi.
What began as an evergreen sponsorship grew into a partnership built to scale. During NBA All‑Star Weekend 2025, Pepsi brought Gatorade Water to The PIER with a thoughtful 10’x10’ pop‑up that met visitors exactly where they were spending the day walking, exploring, and taking it all in.
From there, the partnership continued to grow throughout 2025 with a property‑wide rollout of branded assets, making Pepsi a familiar and natural part of the PIER 39 experience.
When The Big Game came to San Francisco in 2026, the foundation was already there. Months of planning later, Pepsi brought a 32’x32’ interactive activation to the PIER 39 Entrance Plaza that benefited both the brand and the destination.
Increased foot traffic. Increased beverage sales. A true win‑win.
And this partnership is far from over. With future signage additions and new activations on the horizon, Pepsi and PIER 39 are still going strong.
