is another local gem, serving up delicious Palestinian 🇵🇸 x Peruvian 🇵🇪 eats! It's a small space tucked away in a quiet industrial area. There's outdoor seating available for when you wanna eat your food right then and there. I'm still working on eating through their menu, but here are my favorites so far:

🥪 PAN CON CHICHARRON - thick slices of braised  pork belly, in between sweet potato + cilantro pickled onions, all held together in a toasty ciabatta roll 🤤

🧆 SAMMY'S LUNCH PLATTER - a generous serving of very yummy garlic hummus, topped with your choice of protein. And with small sides of cucumber + tomato, feta, and sumac red onion. Comes with a super fluffy and tasty pita bread.

💚 AGUADITO DE POLLO SOUP - tender carrots + potatoes + chicken in spicy cilantro broth. This is the dish that got me coming back!! It's so light, yet filling. Ugh, the brothhh. I love it.

🍪 CHOCOLATE  CHIP COOKIES - I'm a cookie gal, and I usually like my cookies on the thick + crispy side. This one surprised me. Something about the soft chew maybe? But the taste definitely hits the spot 😋

📣 WHOLE FRIED CHICKEN‼️

That's it. That's the post! 😄

But seriously, if you have never been to you MUST! Personally, it's one of my favorite restaurants in San Leandro, for so many reasons. 👉🏼 They make hella good Korean comfort food, they open late, they have happy hour, and they're just an overall chill spot to dine + hang with your favorite people.

My go-to dishes:

🔥WHOLE FRIED CHICKEN - super crispy and juicy. Very flavorful because they marinade their chicken overnight. ***Mainly available Fridays + Saturdays. And LIMITED, so come early to order this!

🔥TOKGOCHI - awesomely fried tteok w/ a gochujang sauce

🔥MUSSEL SOUP - spicy, flavorful broth with mussels, onions, and jalepeño

🔥STEAMED EGG - very light and fluffy. So simple, but very tasty.

As a momma of littles, I am sooo grateful for ! They serve hearty, cozy Chinese food AND are open until hella late EVERYDAY. I love their late hours because some nights I don't have my "me-time" until 9:30p and I'm too exhausted to make myself a proper meal 🫠Can other parents relate?!

Anyways! Back to food— Dao specializes in hand-pulled noodles and xiao long baos (soup dumplings) 🤤😍

What I ordered (at like 10p):

🍜 SPICY BEEF NOODLE SOUP (w/ regular noodles) - it was such a large bowl! Flavorful broth, lots of chunks of meat, and a hefty amount of noods.

🥟 SHANGHAI PAN FRIED SOUP BUNS - the bottoms were soo satisfyingly toasty. Also, hot tip! They come super piping hot, so snip the top + let cool a bit before you bite into it. I was so hungry I just went for it...And I burned my tongue 🫣😅

🍖 GRILLED DUCK BREAST SKEWER - it's a teeny skewer, but a very tasty bite! The charred parts are yummyyy

Over Mother's Day weekend, I tried bbq from , a local MEHKO business, for the first time!

What I Ordered:

BRISKET - very tender + juicy. It came with a hella yummy bbq sauce— I was so happy to have extra left to use in other meals 😋

SMOKED POBLANO BACON MAC - a little saucy + a little gooey, just how I like. I enjoyed the texture and flavor.

DELTA SLAW - light and crisp.

BROWN SUGAR BOURBON BANANA PUDDING - I would have enjoyed it with more wafers, but still overall very tasty.

👉🏼 Verdict: I'd order again to try the other popular meats!

is one of my favorite places for a gorgeously crafted, delicious cocktail. Their cocktails are even better when paired with their savory bacon donuts! Their savory donuts are soo fluffy on the inside, and satisfyingly crisp on the outside.

My drink:
🍹 Laylah Veil - gin, hibiscus syrup, lemon, egg white, peychaud bitters

The donuts:
🧀🥓 ricotta doughnut w/ garlic, scallion, bacon, and parmesan

The layers: grilled roast beef, red onions, american cheese, two egg patties, mayo+chipotle sauce...all in-between hella fluffy buttermilk toast!

Was so in awe of the cross section of ' breakfast burrito, I snapped so many shots of it to try and get the best lighting.

Their breakfast burrito is very filling, and I love that the tots stayyyyy crispy 🤤 And ugh, I really love their hellapeño crema, it's perfect. No notes.

Did I mention that their tots are hella crispy? They're so so so yummy. Would def try their breakfast Smack Tots next time!

Happy Hour is my favorite hour 😋 Stopped by earlier this month to try their new HH menu, which is available Monday-Friday 2:30p-5:30p.

From the menu, I ordered the SOLA smash burger and hand-cut kennebec fries. It's been awhile since I've had SOLA, so their smashburger was new to me (which my family and I enjoyed), and the fries are just as tasty as I remember.

From the regular menu, I ordered a delicious cocktail
💜Purple Haze💜 and their crispy baby back ribs (another favorite! but forgot to add the picture).

I'm a cookie monster 🍪🍪🍪, and 's cookies are my jam!!! They're scratch-made and they hit all the levels— taste✅ texture✅ and size✅

THE COOKIES:
🖤 Triple Chocolate (left)
🤎 Sea Salted Chocolate Chip (right)

Both are deliciously crisp on the outside, and usually satisfyingly chewy in the middle! I especially love that they keep their texture for a while. Sometimes it takes me over a day to finish one ( ) 🫠 They also make a yummy Snickerdoodle cookie too.

I usually sweeten the cookie experience by sipping on their Creme Brulee Latte in between bites 🤤
