Being a founder is not about fitting a mold.

It is about being comfortable enough to show up as yourself.

The founders people remember are not the most polished.
They are the most authentic, confident, and consistent.

Your uniqueness is not a weakness.
It is your advantage.

30 years in marketing teaches you one lesson most businesses learn too late:

Attention gets the click.
Connection earns the trust.

Anyone can stop the scroll with a trend, a hook, or a flashy graphic. But the brands people remember are the ones that create genuine connection.

In the age of AI and endless content, your audience isn't looking for perfection. They're looking for authenticity, consistency, and someone they can relate to.

The businesses that win are the ones that build relationships, not just reach.

Your website traffic is shrinking and it’s not your fault.

Google isn’t sending people to websites the way it used to. AI-generated answers are taking over the top of search, and if your content isn’t built for that, you’re invisible.

AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) is the strategy that gets you found in the new search landscape.

Here’s what you need to know 👇

Save this post. Share it with your clients. This shift is already here.

What it actually feels like inside the spiral (founders rarely admit this):

Month 3:
“Maybe the algorithm changed. Let me post more.”

Month 6:
“Maybe I need better photography. Let me hire someone.”

Month 9:
“Maybe paid ads are the answer. Let me try a campaign.”

Month 12:
“Social doesn’t work for businesses like mine.”

What’s actually happening:

Every fix you’re trying assumes the problem is the COMPANY.
The problem is the absence of YOU.

You can’t ad-spend your way out of a missing founder.

The reset is uncomfortable for two weeks and compounds for two years.

Why the collab post converts harder than either personal or company posts alone:

It carries both signals at once.
The trust signal: a human is in this.
AND the proof signal: this is a real brand making real things.

When to use each version:

THE REVEAL
→ Product launches
→ Big shipments
→ Milestone moments

BEHIND THE GLASS
→ Mid-build
→ Week 3–6 of a project
→ To show momentum

THE OPINION
→ When you have a hot take the industry isn’t saying

Don’t pick the format first.
Pick the moment, then pick the format that fits the moment.

One collab post a week is the sweet spot.
More feels staged.
Less and you lose the compounding.

What actually counts in each pillar (most founders get this wrong):

YOU (50%)
→ Your face in frame
→ Your voice on audio
→ A first-person take

NOT a quote graphic with your photo in the corner.
NOT a “team” post.

COLLAB (30%)
→ You AND a brand element in the SAME frame
→ Both visible
→ Both intentional

A founder portrait next to a product shot in a carousel doesn’t count. They’re separate posts collaged together.

COMPANY (20%)
→ The product is the hero
→ You’re absent
→ Polished
→ Promo
→ Launch
→ Logo card

Most founders think their content is balanced because they post some of each.

Run the test honestly:
Pull your last 30 posts and classify each one.

If “you” is below 40%, your reach is already capped.

Want me to audit YOUR ratio and tell you what to post next? That's a 30-min strategy call. Comment BOOK.

Two founders started with the same niche, offer, and budget

One built a brand around the product
The other built a brand around the founder

A year later, only one created real audience trust, attention, and momentum

In 2026, people do not just buy businesses
They buy connection, personality, and leadership

You are not separate from the brand anymore
You are the signal people remember

Comment ASSESS and we will show you how strong your founder brand really is online

Episode 5: We've spent five episodes pulling back the curtain on how we build cinematic AI video — from the first sentence of a brief to the final render.

Here's what I want you to take away from this series:

AI video is not a trend you need to get ahead of. It's a capability that's already here, already being deployed by the companies that understand what story can do for a brand.

The brands winning right now are the ones who stopped waiting for the technology to mature and started asking a better question: what story do we need to tell — and what's the best way to tell it?

That question is where every great series starts. And it's the question we answer at Lens on Luxury, every single day, for companies that are ready to show up differently.

More cinematic. More personal. More human — not less.Episode 5: If you've watched this series and you're thinking about what episodic AI video could do for your brand — I'd love to have that conversation.

I'm opening up a small number of strategy calls for enterprise teams and agencies ready to explore building a video series. We'll talk about your story, your audience, and what a series built around your brand could look like.

No pitch. Just a real conversation about what's possible.

DM me directly. Let's talk about your next episode.

05/23/2026

Episode 4: Twelve months ago, the question enterprise marketing teams were asking was: is AI video worth exploring?

That conversation is over.

The companies moving fastest right now aren't experimenting. They're in production. They've seen what's possible — cinematic, story-driven video content built around their actual brand narrative, delivered at a fraction of traditional production cost and timeline — and they've made the call.

What they figured out is that AI video isn't about replacing their creative team or cutting corners. It's about unlocking stories they couldn't tell before. Complex technical products explained visually. Executive thought leadership brought to life cinematically. Brand narratives built for a global audience, produced with the precision and intentionality of a high-end agency.

Episode 4: That's the brief we get. And it's the brief we're built for.

At Lens on Luxury, we work as an outside agency partner for enterprise teams who need this done right — not templated, not generic, but genuinely cinematic and strategically grounded.

The shift has already happened. The question now is which brands are leading it and which ones are watching from the sidelines.

Next episode: where AI video is going — and the question we ask every client at the start of every engagement.

05/22/2026

Episode 3: Here's what nobody tells you about AI video production.

You can plan every shot. You can write meticulous scene descriptions, lock your camera angles, specify your lighting. And then the AI renders it — and something unexpected comes back.

Sometimes it's off. You iterate, adjust the direction, render again.
Sometimes it's exactly right.
And sometimes — the best times — it's better than what you wrote. The AI found something in your brief that you hadn't fully articulated yet, and put it on screen.

That moment is where this work gets interesting. It's not automation. It's a creative conversation between human direction and machine output — and learning to read that conversation, to know when to push and when to keep what the AI gave you, is the skill that separates great AI video from generic AI video.

This is the part of our process that clients don't see in the final cut. But it's the part that shapes everything.

Next episode: why enterprise companies are moving from "testing" AI video to deploying it at scale — and what that means for brands that haven't started yet.
