STATEMENT REGARDING AI AND MINOR SAFETY
At Jones Photo Co., I believe photography is about capturing raw human emotion, authentic storytelling, and split-second moments that can never be replicated by a machine.
To maintain transparency with my clients and community, I have made a commitment to not utilize AI in my work.
While AI is changing the digital landscape, relying on prompts to construct photos undermines the craft, discipline, and soul of true photography. Real moments are messy, beautiful, and genuine. That human connection is what gives art its value. When you work with me, every gallery you receive is entirely shot, culled, and edited by hand.
Additionally, protecting the privacy and safety of minors in light of evolving privacy laws and the risks associated with AI harvesting facial data from public platforms, I do not share identifiable photos of minors on public social media or my website portfolio.
All galleries containing children are delivered via password-protected galleries. Images containing children may be shared to my pages however, images will be altered to remove identifying features of any children.
Keeping children’s faces off of public channels prevents unauthorized image scraping, digital manipulation, and deepfake misuse by third-party AI models.
