Sorry Swiffer P&G. I’ve debunked your myth. Please don’t hate me for being a . I just got home to two giant after a week away. I couldn’t find my beloved Swiffer Pet cloths. Rather than panicking, I had a moment of clarity. A paper towel tucked into the dry mop does the exact same thing as your “heavy duty” refills. It’s time to realign with your own brand Bounty, the quicker picker upper. It was time for some brand fusion anyway.

I fail to comprehend the current fascination with AI. I have shared an email I received today, composed by a company utilizing AI in an attempt to capture my attention and posted in my comment below. Numerous identical emails flood my inbox, with content extracted from my corporation's website. In my professional opinion, resorting to AI to increase traffic, leads, or sales in order to grow one's business is not a differentiator, but rather a conformity. My professional background spans nearly thirty years in the promotional products industry, during which I have owned Tagsource. Our company website showcases nearly a million unique products that can be customized with a client's logo. If an item is not available, global sourcing is an option. This is true differentiation. AI certainly has its uses, but selling shouldn’t be one of them, unless you want your clients to think you are, in fact, robotic.

At TAGSOURCE (AKA TAG!) your logo is our pallet. Our canvas is the ideas we generate that flow to the products we sell. When we merge our creative energy together with unique products; a brand develops, changes and unfolds, or takes on a new identity altogether, consumer behavior is modified, and together, we challenge the status quo.

This year, we celebrate our 25th year anniversary as a 100% woman-owned enterprise. Through the years, we have sold millions and millions of dollars of promotional product merchandise, and have worked with some of the biggest and most interesting brands in America. Companies like Disney, Dell, Warner Bros., Visa, Saban Entertainment, Paramount Pictures, Spotify, and Cornerstone on Demand, have all placed their trust in us. From concept-to-completion, our track record has never fallen short while we search all corners of the globe for quality branded merchandise to meet our clientele’s needs.

In 2012 we made a sizable investment in technology, and we bucked traditional brick-and-mortar office space (with the exception of a small space in Ventura, CA) while operating from home-based offices. We found that we are happier working in our own creative spaces - sometimes at all hours of the night - and are better able to balance work and life. After all, the products that we design, source, and sell are warehoused and produced across the country and around the globe. Better technology was the critical link that connected us to each other and to our clients.
