Testing all the new Procreate brushes one by one 👀✨
Because how else do you learn what they can do… other than turning it into a full animation? 😭🎨
This update brought some seriously fun textures
from grainy shading to buttery soft blenders and I couldn’t resist trying them all.

Meet Gentleman Mister Shrimp 🦐🎩
Because sometimes your brain says: ‘Let’s draw something classy... but also a shrimp.’ 😂
In this reel I’m sketching a gentleman shrimp character in Procreate full of charm, monocle energy, and questionable elegance. Perfect excuse to play with textures, shading, and tiny top hats.
What’s the weirdest or funniest character idea you’ve ever drawn? 👀

What you see ✨ vs what you don’t 😩
Everyone sees the final smooth animation… but not the endless frames, layers, tests, redos, and breakdowns behind it. 🎨⏳
Animating in Procreate looks effortless until you’re deep into frame 247 fixing one ear movement 🐰💀
Do you enjoy the animation process itself or only when it’s finally done? 😅

So instead… I animated the girl rabbit from The Rabbit and Turtle Dance.
So who do you think had it harder? Bunny or turtle? :)

Experimenting like this helps you actually feel how each brush moves texture, opacity, flow all while keeping it fun and creative.
Do you test new brushes with random doodles or full mini-projects like this? 👀

When you could use big confident strokes… but instead you go for 10,000 tiny pencil lines because that’s just who you are. 😭
If you know, you know. The ✨micro detailing✨ life chose us, not the other way around.

Step-by-step tiger tutorial in Procreate 🐯✨
1. Make a shape with the Lasso tool
2. Fill it with the Marker brush (can find it in bio)
3. On a new layer + Clipping Mask - make tips of legs & tail whiter
4. Add darker lines for the tiger’s stripes
5. Draw eyes & whiskers of your choice
6. Duplicate the tiger - use Move → Distort and shift down to create a shadow
7. Alpha Lock the shadow layer and change its color to a darker tone
