As a seasoned professional, my expertise in marketing, advertising, and operations is rooted in my graduate degree in Political Management from George Washington University and my Communications degree from Roanoke College. Engulfed in media relations, I managed the host's public image and schedule. Collaborating on show content, I learned how critical messaging and timing can play a role in makin
g or breaking a story. In my final semester, I immersed myself in my graduate degree, working on political campaigns in Washington D.C. at the local and Presidential levels on the Strategic Communications teams. Traveling across the country, meeting with voters first hand really opened my eyes to how politics worked on the ground as a grassroots strategist. These experiences taught me the art of crafting persuasive messages and effective advertising strategies to influence public opinion, igniting my passion for the power of communication. Driven by my fasination with powerful communication, I ventured into email marketing at a campaign fundraising firm as their Digital Strategist. Within this role, I was the voice of 21 campaigns across the nation. My job was to craft a unique voice, message and tone for each of their target audiences in order to raise money for their causes. Following that, I assumed the role of Marketing Manager for a startup social media platform. There, I drove email marketing strategies to boost user connections and engagement. During my tenure, the platform's user base surged from 1.2 million to 7 million, with 315K daily active users. I also assisted in managing three major accounts, ranging from 15K followers to 1 million followers, showcasing my ability to adapt and tailor messages for diverse audiences. Beyond this, I gained extensive experience in event management, using my marketing and networking skills to organize successful pop ups, meet and greets, and bus tours. These experiences fine-tuned my ability to craft compelling email and marketing campaigns and foster lasting connections with an audience. Lately, I've immersed myself in the fashion industry, assisting music bands and startup brands in amplifying their presence to seize the spotlight within the industry. The diverse teams that I have had the privilege to be a part of have enriched my perspective and given me the tools to connect with and understand the unique needs of each of my clients. My approach is characterized by a commitment to open communication, creative problem-solving, and a deep passion for helping brands (both corporate and individual) achieve their goals.
