Checking off my first national pageant presentation! ✅

Got to spend the evening with the women of the Miss Collegiate USA Organization as a new sponsor and presenter for The Crown Lab Virtual Workshop Series! We dove into how marketing and branding apply to the world of pageantry, the importance of strong social media for titleholders in today’s online world, building authentic content strategy, and using your titleholder platforms to build community and affect change ✨ As someone who started her journey being TERRIFIED of social media, this moment feels so full circle… After five years as a contestant figuring things out along the way, I now get to be the support that sweet, precious clueless Julia needed back in 2019. 🥹

The past few months had thrown lots of challenges and tough lessons my way, but tonight was a much needed affirmation of my purpose in this business and industry.

Wedding bells rang in Savannah, GA this weekend as married her Prince Charming, Harrison!

When I think of Brittni, I’m reminded of the joy and kindness she offered me at a moment I really needed it. I had just earned a completely unexpected opportunity to compete for Miss Georgia after ending my Miss America journey in North Carolina due to the age limit cut-off (or so I thought). The very next weekend, I walked into Forum as a total stranger- excited to meet everyone, but nervous I wouldn’t be accepted.

Brittni was one of the first people to walk up to me on night one, asking excitedly if I was Julia (plot twist: it was indeed me 😂🙋‍♀️). She said, “You probably have no idea who I am, but I’ve followed your journey to Miss North Carolina, and I can’t believe you’re here now competing for Miss Georgia! We are so excited to have you.”

In a moment that felt scary and overwhelming, she brought me peace and made me feel like I belonged.

I can only hope I brought that same sense of peace to your special day, capturing each moment as you walked down the aisle and stepped into this special new chapter. Thank you for inviting me and trusting me to serve as your wedding content creator!

What a beautiful celebration of love… and the sweetest mini-Miss Georgia reunion with these forever sisters. 🥹👑
