🌟 Meet Noah Noland, an inspiring 8-year-old from our Andrew County community! 🌟

Noah recently made a generous donation to the Savannah Safe Haven Baby Box, using money he saved from the tooth fairy and helping his grandma. When we asked him why he chose to support the baby box, his adorable response was, “I want to help the babies.” 💖

And here’s a fun fact: Noah dreams of becoming a firefighter when he grows up! 🚒 Let’s all celebrate Noah’s kindness and dedication to making a difference in the lives of others! 👏

🌟 Exciting News for Our Community! 🌟

We are thrilled to announce that the Safe Haven Baby Box has been installed in Savannah, thanks to the generous support of Lehr Construction! This initiative is a vital step forward in ensuring the safety and well-being of our most vulnerable little ones. 💖

Please note, while the baby box has been installed, it is not active just yet. We are currently working diligently to provide all first responders with the proper training to respond to a surrender in the most effective way.

Thank you for your continued support as we work together to create a safer environment for every child in our community!

We want to take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude to the amazing seniors involved in FCCLA! Your dedication and hard work at the spaghetti dinner and the Mr. SHS fundraising event have truly made a difference in our community.

Through your efforts, we raised vital funds for the Safe Haven Baby Box project, helping to ensure that every child has a safe start. It’s inspiring to see young leaders in our community come together, not only to support this important cause but also to demonstrate the power of community service and leadership.

I would like to personally, and on behalf of the Andrew County Community Builders, give a shoutout and heartfelt THANK YOU to all that have made a contribution and donation to our Savannah Safe Haven Baby Box project! No matter how big or small, you have a hand in this and together we are all making it happen!

As a medical professional, I’m sure I can speak for many of us when I say we all have experienced something in our career that has forever altered our brain chemistry and has pushed us to make a positive change in how we continue to take care of those around us. For me, it was an experience that made me stop and say “it’s time to do something.” Safe Haven Baby Boxes is so much more than a baby box. Our baby box will serve as a lifeline for a mother in crisis, access to important resources including medical care and counseling, a guiding hand to walk with her through her options and as a last option - a safe and secure place to surrender a newborn.

Networking and meeting those around us to talk about this mission and what exactly it will bring to Northwest Missouri, to watching our own community step up in big, big ways, has been nothing short of awe-inspiring. It’s with the happiest heart that I can share with you that we have not only met our goal, but we have exceeded it in just 3 short months. Your donations have not only allowed us to purchase a Safe Haven Baby box and AED for Savannah Rural Fire Department Station #1, but the funds raised have ensured that this resource will be available in Andrew County for years to come.

I want to thank every member of the Andrew County Community Builders and the firemen of the Savannah Rural Fire Department for their continued hard work day after day to help make this a success. Thank you to the Andrew County Sheriff’s Department, Savannah Police Department and Andrew County Ambualnce District for working with us on this mission. Your support has been instrumental in this. 🖤
