Kristin Darnall-Titov has been a “Hobby Girl” since she was 7 years old. From wearing the clothing in the show pen, to gracing the catalogs and consulting in the marketing department, to becoming the CEO of Hobby Horse Inc. Titov’s passion for the company has built throughout her 30 years as a consumer and her own show career. As a 2X NRHA Top 20 Non Pro and NSBA World Champion with years spent as an executive in the retail industry, she brings personal experience and business savvy to Hobby Horse.

“I love empowering women to look and feel their best in the show pen and beyond,” said Titov. “I have been involved with the brand since I was a child getting my first horse and starting to show, to showing in the highest level of NRHA competition and becoming a NSBA World Champion – all in my Hobby Horse.”

‼️Entering the new era of Hobby Horse ‼️

Hobby Horse has been part of our CEO Kristin Titov’s life for nearly 40 years. Long before she had the privilege of leading this company, she was wearing Hobby Horse in the show pen.

The horse show industry has changed considerably, and so has the broader economic environment around it. This change is driving us into focusing on what Hobby Horse has always done exceptionally — giving our customers the best chaps in the industry.

Moving forward, Hobby Horse will be focused around chaps. We’ve created a new, streamlined website designed to make it easier to shop for chaps, understand the differences between our styles, find the right fit, and benefit from the expertise we’ve built over decades in the horse show industry.

Hobby Horse clothing has been part of horse shows, family photos, championship rides, first shows, last shows, comeback stories, and memories for decades— and we are excited to continue to do so in this new chapter!

Thank you to all of our customers for the unwavering support throughout the years, we love being part of your journey in the show pen.

As part of this transition, all of our non-chap related merchandise has been discontinued and moved into our Final Sale Clearance section. Once these pieces are gone, they are gone. We have no plans to reproduce them. Happy shopping!
