A few days ago the world lost an amazing businesswoman, entrepreneur, and spiritual teacher.

When I hit reset on life and moved to LA in 2015, seeing teach at was the only thing that felt familiar.

Her teaching style, kundalini, & a pretty extensive meditation practice helped find and collect the new pieces of life that have now become my normal.

Forever grateful to my time at RAMA and my time learning from this powerful woman.

Did y'all know I used to do improv? If you're a fan of humiliation or even if you're not, I'd recommend it.

I learned SOO much from the 8 months of classes that I took. Most of the time I felt completely mortified, but I also learned to trust myself. If something I thought was funny didn't land or no one understood where I was taking a character -- oh well -- gotta keep going.

It is EXACTLY the same as designing and writing for clients. Throw yourself out there, and see what happens.

This is an older blog post I wrote a few years ago when I was bumbling my way through improv. Loving and hating every second -- at the same time.
