Naturacur Wound Healing NATURACUR WOUND HEALING provides innovative and accessible topical technologies for acute and chronic wounds.

Foster MBAs Join Forces With Wound Care Startup, Naturacur, Inc: A healing connection formed in the Executive MBA classroom

"Todd Cutter (MBA 2023), Josh McDonald (MBA 2023), and Dr. Kunal Joshi (MBA 2023) met as students in the Foster School of Business Executive MBA program. Their different backgrounds—energy, wine, and medicine—would prove crucial in their unexpected journey from classmates to

leaders of a wound care startup. Their company, Naturacur Wound Healing, began as a shared vision during the MBA capstone competition in 2023. The team tied for first place by presenting an innovative wound-healing device. But it was a personal experience that led them to their breakthrough product." We had an incredible experience attending the 2026 Career Mixer.

A sincere thank you to the Organizers, the UW Foster team, and all the outstanding companies who participated in making this such a meaningful and impactful event.

What continues to set Seattle businesses apart is its commitment to collaborating with its own community. Events like this create powerful opportunities for mentorship, guidance, and warm introductions that help students expand their networks while connecting classroom learning to real-world experience.

We had the pleasure of meeting an MBA student who was deciding whether to take their business concept to the next level. Not long ago, we were at the same crossroads when testing our own viability and shared with them our origin story. With the right framing, confidence, and continued development of their business plan and pitch deck, their idea absolutely has potential.

We encourage anyone with big ideas to lean into the resources available through the and the Seattle business community, which provides an ecosystem built to support you at every stage. The next day, we saw that they officially announced the launch of their business. That is what this event is all about.

Our team is beyond grateful to have been invited to participate and share our entrepreneurial journey. We were honored to stand alongside leaders who contribute to Seattle’s reputation as an innovation hub! How do small businesses and entrepreneurs celebrate the holidays? By celebrating each other!

On December 10, 2025, we came together for Founder’s Innovation Day, a gathering focused on insights, access, and breakthroughs by connecting founders and entrepreneurs who never stop innovating and transforming their own industries.

We celebrated the holiday season by attending the Seattle Kraken vs. La Kings game at Climate Pledge Arena, but what truly made the night special was the shared commitment to giving back.

All proceeds from our event went to support Mary’s Place, Seattle and their mission: “No Child Sleeps Outside — The cold doesn’t wait. Neither can we.”

It was a powerful reminder that when founders come together, we can create impact that extends far beyond business by strengthening our communities and supporting families when it matters most.

Grateful for this incredible community and the opportunity to celebrate, connect, and give back. 💙
