Such a bittersweet moment resigning from my position as an Area Manager at Amazon. This site holds a special place in my heart because we launched the building. My duties surpassed being a manager; I was often a counselor, therapist, big brother. While announcing my resignation, associates cried and thanked me for having a positive impact on their experience at Amazon. I’m grateful to have lead this team of associates. It’s not bye for-ever, it’s bye for- now.

I truly hope this accomplishment of my academic journey will inspire my niece and nephews to reach for higher heights despite the obstacles. I’ve shown them through self-discipline, faith, and tenacity anything they want they can have. They question is: How bad do you want it? When you want it bad enough, there is no obstacle that will stop you from getting it.
