Mahjong has been around for a long time, but like every game and hobby it has moments of revived popularity. We’re seeing that right now with Mahjong. Lots of sources calling it “the hobby of the summer” or “the summer’s hottest game”. I’ve said those things myself, because I believe it! There are all kinds of classes available now, and that’s great.
But Mahjong is much more than that. It’s a community builder, a people connector, a bring you out of your shell kind of experience. If you let it, it can lead you to new friendships, new places, a newfound sense of confidence! When you decide to pick up the tiles for the first time, where you are and who you are with matter. Your experience can shape the way you look at the game for the rest of your life. So make it a great one!
I believe that the experiences I provide are accessible, meaningful, rewarding and above all inviting. I know what it’s like not to have a seat at anyone’s table- so I built my own. And there’s a seat for everyone at it. So come on in and sit down, let me fix you something cold to drink, and let me teach you my favorite game.
