"Mom, I don’t feel like doing homework.”- literally 5 minutes after starting homework. 😩

👋🏼 I’m not an educator, so no matter how many games we made up, reviews we went over, or flashcards we made, I could not get homework to be enjoyable. For either of us. I. Needed. Help.

Shreveport Citizens United is a nonpartisan group with one clear priority: reducing crime and violence in Shreveport by building real relationships between citizens, civic leaders, law enforcement and local nonprofits. They're not a political group and they don't take sides; their sole focus is on listening to every voice in the community, especially ones that often go unheard, and turning that listening into action.
