Has the “synthetic loop” killed the internet?
Probably not.
But the web is definitely noisier than ever.
And that noise isn’t always trustworthy.
AI-generated content is now feeding AI-generated search results.
In other words: synthetic content training synthetic systems.
The result is a growing sea of recycled information that sounds polished, but lacks depth, originality, and accuracy.
Authenticity is becoming rare.
As feeds fill up with templated posts, AI summaries, and machine-written slop disguised as “expertise,” audiences are placing more value on something that feels unmistakably…human.
Real faces.
Real voices.
Real perspective.
Real experience.
That’s why authority-based video content matters more than ever.
But not overproduced corporate messaging full of generic talking points.
And definitely not AI avatars pretending to be people.
We’re talking about actual humans sharing insight, opinions, and stories that can only come from lived experience.
In a digital world flooded with synthetic noise, authentic video may become one of the last remaining trust signals that can’t easily be replicated at scale.
The brands that recognize this now will stand out later.
