Have you ever clung tightly to something—your plans, your pain, your pride—only to realize that God was asking you to release it and trust Him for something better?

In a recent post, The Great Exchange, I’m sharing how God gently calls us to trade our ashes for beauty, our striving for surrender, and our brokenness for healing. It’s not always easy, but it’s always worth it. 💛

This one is personal—and it’s full of hope.

Take a few minutes and read it here:

Let me know what you’ve exchanged at the feet of Jesus. I’d love to pray for you. 💬👇

Ever felt like life threw you into the fire—unprepared, undone, and unsure?
Yeah… me too.

This season has tested me in ways I never expected. But in the middle of the flames, God whispered something that changed everything.

I wrote about it in a recent blog post: “Refined in the Fire.” It’s raw. It’s real. It’s for anyone walking through a hard place, wondering if there’s purpose in the pain.

Have you ever found yourself standing in front of a door you really wanted open… only to watch it shut right in your face?
I’ve been there too. It’s confusing, disappointing, and sometimes heartbreaking.

But what if that closed door was actually God’s protection?
What if it was His divine redirection?

In my latest blog, “When God Closes a Door,” I’m sharing a piece of my personal journey and the powerful lessons I’ve learned about trusting God when the answer is “no.”
Because sometimes, His “no” is making room for a greater yes.

Whether you’re in a waiting season or grieving something that didn’t go as planned, I pray this encourages your heart and reminds you: God’s plans are always better—even when we don’t understand them yet.

Welcome to Ramblings of Roxy – A Space for Faith, Life, and Creative Adventures!!

Hi, I’m Roxy – Jesus follower, mom of four, nonprofit founder, writer, and a woman on a mission to grow, give, and glorify. This blog is my heart poured onto the page – a place where I share my thoughts, lessons, and musings about faith, family, creativity, and the everyday journey of becoming who God created me to be.

I’m passionate about pursuing God’s purpose, healing from the past, and living each day intentionally. You’ll find reflections on the ups and downs of single motherhood, snippets of my creative projects, and encouragement for anyone who’s navigating a season of waiting, healing, or growth.

When I’m not writing or working as a marketing director, you can find me building Build Her Brave, my nonprofit that empowers young women to step into confidence and faith, or working on Joyful Gestures Gift Co., a dream-turned-business creating personalized gift baskets that bring joy.

I believe in dreaming big, laughing often, and trusting God with every step. If you love authentic conversations and reflections about faith and life, you’re in the right place. Thanks for stopping by – I’m so glad you’re here!
