So I decided the 4 kids at home are officially in charge of their own laundry.
Because… life skills.
And also… I’m done. 😅
This is what happened.
They decided it was “wasteful” to do small loads.
So now they combine everything and “take turns.” 🤔
In theory? Efficient. In reality?
They are digging through piles of each other’s hoodies trying to find what’s theirs.
Arguing over whose sock 🧦 is whose.
Spending twice as long sorting through chaos THEY created.
And I just stand there thinking…
I 💯 cannot even begin to explain all the ways this doesn’t make sense.
But they’re teenagers. They have to figure it out.
And honestly?
👉🏽 I see business owners do this with paid ads ALL.THE.TIME.
“I’ll just boost a post.”
“I watched a YouTube video.”
“It’s cheaper if I do it myself.”
So they combine random audiences.
Guess 🤷🏻♀️ at budgets.
Click buttons they don’t fully understand.
Then they’re digging through data like my kids digging through laundry:
“Why is this not working?”
“Where did my money go?”
“Why aren’t leads coming in?”
It’s 😠 overwhelming.
It’s confusing.
And deep down… they don’t even LIKE doing the ads.
💜 They love serving clients. Building things.
Leading teams.
But instead, they’re sorting socks in a marketing system that was never built right 😬 in the first place.
You don’t have to love ads.
You don’t have to become an expert.
You don’t have to “figure it out” the hard way.
You CAN call in the pros & go back to the parts of your business you actually enjoy.
If you’ve been DIY-ing your ads & wondering what the heck you’re doing…
✅ Message me your questions about paid ads.
No pressure. Just help.
Do not, however, ask me advice for how to get kids to do laundry efficiently. 😉
