If you’re a good dog trainer, like a really good one, I get why this s**t is frustrating.
For years, word of mouth was the gold standard.
You did great work. People liked it, they talked.
Your phone rang.
It was simple, organic, honest.
But it’s 2025. Things have changed (lots) whether we like it or not (ew).
People are sort of asking other people for referrals but they’re also asking Google. A Lot.
They’re looking on Instagram. Or Facebook.
Or worse… TikTok…
Marketing has always been about helping people FIND you. So in 2025, it you aren’t effectively showing up online, do you even exist?
I’m not telling you to get flashy, sell your soul to social media, be fake, or act stupid, either. It’s just about adapting to the changing consumer market and keeping your business alive for the people and dogs who need you most. Yes. Your people and your dogs, included.
It feels overwhelming.
You’re not alone.
A lot of us built our dog training careers in a totally different world.
If you need help - I’m here. I get it. I’ve been there.
And I know how to build it without losing your sanity or soul in the process.
