As some of you know, I’m a mountain biker—nothing beats railing trails and sending jumps… except when you crash. 😂
The previous fall: broken leg, months on crutches. This last summer: shredded knee ligaments, right back on the damn things. Crutch life is straight-up brutal.
Carrying anything bigger than your pocket? Forget it. Lunch? Groceries? Laundry? Drinks? Either I’m begging someone to play pack mule, or I’m one wobbly step from eating dirt.
Backpacks on the back? Instant balance death sentence. Bags clipped to crutches or dangling from the grips? They swing like wrecking balls and almost take me out every time. I was over it.
“There HAS to be a better way for active people who get sidelined.”
So I turned the frustration into fuel: invented a front-worn pack built specifically for crutch users. Ergonomic as hell, zero sway, hands-free access to your stuff, and no compromise on looking/ feeling independent.
Fast forward: just got the concept patented (utility patent pending!), and I’m full steam ahead. Check out the latest logo mockups for The Crutch Buddy, because when you’re on crutches, you need a real best friend, not another swinging hazard.
Which one hits hardest?
#1. Clean circular badge
#2. Straight-shield version
#3. Dynamic shield with ribbon/banner
Drop your pick (or roast any of them, I can take it) in the comments—I’m all ears! Your feedback is gold as we build something that’ll actually make crutch recovery suck way less for mountain bikers or anyone stuck in the same boat. 💙
