I’ve been shooting a lot of listings lately and have had this on my mind! 🏡 Things to consider when listing an Air BnB:
1. Curb appeal— This one should go without saying; initial impressions are important. Hire a professional photographer to shoot your listing so it looks it’s best from the get go!
2. Easily accessible— Make sure tenants know where and how to enter and park before they get there to make the process as seamless as possible.
3. Attention to detail— The little things add up! Having items like games, a grill, air mattresses, good coffee, amenities for pets, maps and activities going on in the area are all great ways to help guests have an unforgettable experience and get the most enjoyment out of their stay.
4. Common areas— Spaces like the kitchen and living room should have all the basic supplies guests could need. A benefit to an Air BnB vs a hotel is having extra comfort and convenience like you might at your own home.
5. Unique features— What sets your space apart? When guests are looking at rentals to book, why would they decide on yours when choosing between two? Things like location and price are of course key factors, but additional aspects like a unique layout, a fun loft, interesting history or fun decor may sway your next guest.
