Westshore Hobbies is sponsoring a NATURAL HUNT, with a bonus seeded pinpointer hunt.
There's 8 properties with activity throughout late 1700s and early 1800s ,over 120 acres. We have the HISTORIC SPRINGFIELD fairgrounds, Masonic lodge, a ball field, 60 acres downtown Springfield with trails ,1 cellar hole ( por farm) ,3 dumps and old stage coach trails a. There's 3 fields, 2 used during 1850s fairs as wagon parking and camping ,approximately 32 acres. The other field is 25 acres roughly and was going to be original start of the town. Also we have another 5 acres near the 60 acres ,with another cellar hole.
All properties should turn up a wide variety of 1800s relics,silver and possibly gold coins.GET EXCITED!
Bonus seeded hunt is loaded with over 500 silver items ,from rings,bracelets, necklaces, relics,old coins, a metal detector, and much more, goal is 1000 items predominantly silver. You will be using a pinpointer for the seeded hunt on Sunday.
We have a 10oz silver bar as a door prize. We also have a 5.5 Oz custom bar silver bar and a Quest Spro metal detector.
Quest will be sending giveaway items also Westshore Hobbies wants to introduce you to Quest products.
We have a Stihl Chainsaw also a a prize.
All manufacturers will be represented by Westshore Hobbies, Quest, XP , Minelab and Nokta. (NO CELEBRITIES, NO REPS AS OF THIS DATE)
The event is 3 DAYS 200$ PER PERSON, 100 PER DAY IF YOU CANT MAKE 3 AND KIDS 12 AND UNDER ARE FREE. MUST PRE REGISTER AND SIGN WAIVER. Tickets can be paid for on our website Westshorehobbies.com
There will be a designated area to camp NO FACILITIES. TENTS AND SELF CONTAINED VEHICLES ARE FREE to help with traveling cost . There's port a John's , water at fairgrounds ,food concessions and and a store nearby.
Would like to have a bonfire Friday night and Saturday night to get to know people.
There will be a band on Saturday night ( Y WOULDN'T U ) AND MY BDAY CAKE LOL.
PLEASE NO DOOR KNOCKING out of respect for my neighbors and permissions . All have been asked ,some said no.
Flying in, use Bangor Maine airport. Lincoln Maine is big town and has hotels and accommodations like groceries, Walmart and fast food n restaurants.
We support Wounded Warriors, St Jude and The future diggers of our hobby . Some of the proceeds raised will be used for those 3 charities through our contacts for each charity. People who know Myself and Shane Skirvin know we give back to the community and especially the children. Since 2022 over 140 metal detectors given away 130 went to children along with gear and accessories. We also support over 12 metal detecting clubs n their hunts.
