Are you team QR code?

Confession: Up until last year I couldn’t stand QR codes. I thought they were tacky and unnecessary. Couldn’t you just go straight to the website or type it into Google?

But then I realized how useful these little codes truly are. When we started going back out to restaurants, QR codes were how we got the menu. Then they started creeping into the wedding space.

As more and more couples shift their RSVPs to online, these little codes are a quick and easy way to get guests onto your website and REPLYING. It saved them from having to type in your website and (hopefully) gets them to reply quicker.

Now, I’m realistic—no matter how you choose to have guests reply to your wedding, you’re still going to have to follow up with a portion of your list to get their replies.

Lots of sample packs heading out to 2023 couples lately! For couples interested in what Leighwood has to offer but can’t meet in person, or just want a little something to hold on to, these bundles of pretty paper are a great alternative.

The prettiest shade of green I ever have seen. Every time anyone sees this color during a design meeting you just can’t help but to comment on it. A perfect rich green that’s not too blue and not too dark—the Goldilocks of greens. We’ve used it for winter weddings, spring weddings, and autumn weddings it’s that versatile!

We love how Amanda customized the Everett suite and used it to add a pop of interest to her online response card to draw guests’ attention to the QR code.

Grateful for everyone that I met at last weekend’s Wedding Show! It’s been an insanely busy week filled with style meetings, consultations, and designing. (Not to mention a sick kiddo…AND soft launching a new product.)
