Great discussion on this week's coaching call. A few key takeaways:
✅ Facebook is still working well, especially for retargeting people who have already interacted with your brand. While Google captures active buyers, Facebook can be a powerful tool for staying top-of-mind and bringing prospects back.
✅ Most businesses are sitting on valuable databases they rarely use. Monthly newsletters featuring recent projects, customer success stories, promotions, and company updates can help generate additional opportunities from contacts you already have.
✅ AI continues to open new possibilities for our industry. We discussed using AI to organize product information, assist with quoting, cross-check specifications, reduce errors, and even build custom applications tailored to specific business processes.
✅ Online scheduling continues to be one of the simplest ways to improve lead conversion. When prospects choose their own appointment time, they often become more committed to moving forward.
✅ Data visibility matters. Many owners focus on lead volume but spend very little time measuring follow-up performance, close rates, and operational efficiency. Better reporting creates better decisions.
✅ SEO is evolving alongside AI. Businesses that consistently publish useful content, earn citations, and build authority are positioning themselves to appear not only in search engines but also in AI-generated recommendations.
✅ Finding and retaining quality installers remains one of the biggest challenges across the industry. Compensation matters, but so do culture, incentives, growth opportunities, and creating reasons for great employees to stay long-term.
One of the biggest themes of the call was this: technology is moving fast, but the companies that win will be the ones that combine strong systems, consistent marketing, and excellent ex*****on.
What AI tools or automations have you implemented in your business recently? I'd love to hear what's working.
