Took a quick iPhone video of the sky tonight out the backdoor. I about *% #! when the lightning hit. Slowed it down and it’s almost alive — striking, fading, dissolving back into nothing. Ps, I muted the boom.

Enjoyed last evening gazing at the sky from my deck. It was made more special by sharing the time with my son and daughter-in-law.

The prominent large star is Jupiter. I know FB downgrades the quality of the image, but hopefully you can see a dissipating plane trail, a satellite trail, a little cloud cover and a hint of the milky way among the billions of stars.

I call this one "Dancing Tulip". Oh how it does my soul good to get back to experimenting and playing with my camera. This was many attempts to get it right, moving the dancing tulip just fast enough while still slowing down to show a hint of its shape all while holding a flash light and I hand to change to a black hoodie so you couldn't see me. I plan to try improving on this method. But this was a fair start.

I went to see "Harry Potter, The Cursed Child" at the FOX last night, and I think the "magic" of the show inspired me.

My first "day off" in awhile and the house is still a mess. LOL

Still playing today. Think I’ll go out and get some fresh flowers and fresh air.

Last year I splurged and bought a frame tv. I love how I can display my own images as artwork. This image was from Holland, Michigan last May.

Btw, if there is interest, for anyone with a Frame Tv, I can sell you the digital image that fits perfectly on the Frame. Much more affordable than prints.

Found myself with a day off and it was a beautiful day to reconnect with nature and play with my camera at Shaw Nature Reserve. I used a macro lens for some tiny little spring flowers, and pulled out my 100-400 zoom to get some birds and other perspectives on the blooming flowers and trees. Enjoy!
